All Returns & Exchanges Require an Return Authorization Number (RA#)

To request a return, customer need to contact customer service within 14 days of the receipt of their order for a Refund.

To request an exchange, customers need to contact customer service within 14 days of the receipt of their order for an Even Exchange

No Returns or Refund on:

  • Software
  • Headphones, Microphone
  • Media (tapes, CD’s, DVD’s, digital memory, batteries, bulbs, etc.)
  • Special Orders
  • Merchandise described “As Is”, “Final Sale”, or “No Returns”

Rules and Policies:

No returns are accepted without an RA number.

Customers are responsible for shipping cost for all Return and Exchange Items
All Returns for Refund in full that purchase with Free Shipping the shipping cost will deducted from the refund credit.

All returned products must completely pack with all items associate with the product in its original box packaging, documentation (warranty cards, manuals, etc).

Returned products must be in their original condition with no signs of use or wear and tear.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee depending on the reason for return, condition, date of purchase, and manufacturer’s policy.

All return items Must Be Pack in a shipping container/box so the original container/box does not become marked or damaged.


Destination Sound is not responsible for personal data or items left in products returned .

Refunds for items paid by cash or check all refund will be issued by check and all items paid by Credit/Debit Card or PayPal Refund will Return to the Same/Appropriate Account used for the purchase. Destination Sound reserves the right to wait up to 14 days for return to reach our office before refunding an order paid by check.

Return Policy

If your returned product does not match all applicable criteria listed below, it will be rejected & returned back to you at your cost. Consequently, your RA# (Return Authorization Number) will be nullified, any credit request will be denied, replacement orders will not be made, & you will be charged for all shipping to & from By requesting an RA# and/or shipping a return in violation of this policy you hereby agree to accept our shipment of the Item back to you & the payment of all shipping costs to & from Our arrangements with our suppliers & manufacturers allow us no room to make exceptions.

  1. To request a return authorization, you must forward your original email receipt (either from our website or from PayPal) with a request for a return authorization. You must include the reason you are requesting to return the item as well as whether the product has been opened or tampered with in any way. Your request for a return authorization is your agreement to the entire Return Policy & all fees involved.
  2. Returning an item without a written authorization will result in a fee of 20% of the purchase price or the refusal of the return.
  3. Any products not returned in the exact condition originally shipped from the manufacturer (e.g. weathered packaging, opened packaging, or any product that is not 100% new as it was shipped originally) will have a fee of 20% of the purchase price.
  4. The RA number & return address must not be written on the original manufacturer’s packaging or box. Please write the RA number on the shipping label used to return the item. Items received with any writing on the original manufacturer’s packaging or box will result in will result in a fee of 20% of the purchase price or the refusal of the return.
  5. The original shipping & handling charges that paid to ship the item to you are not refundable & we are not responsible for the shipping cost to return an item to us.
  6. No return authorizations are allowed after 30 days from the original shipping date.
  7. If there is any circumstance that calls for a refund of a PayPal payment after 60 days, PayPal will charge you a fee as per their policy.
  8. We reserve the right to refuse any return.

  • Defective products (Defective products are exchanged or replaced directly by the manufacturer)
  • Items damaged in shipping (Damaged items are handled by a damage claim with the shipping company).
  • Headphones, earphones, microphones & any other products that touch your mouth, your nose, or your ear cannot be returned due to health laws.
  • Replacement parts: vinyl records, knobs, faders, power supplies, & any item that is considered a replacement part by cannot be returned.
  • DVD’s, sound expansion boards, sound cards, audio interfaces & software (which includes any hardware bundled with software) cannot be returned once opened due to copyright law.

Our return policy is almost identical to those of other online retailers in our industry; the above return exceptions are necessary; please consider them before making your purchase.
